country Camry

bought the Camry used a year ago at the start of February, a v6 XLE 2008 model with 90K km on it with an extended warranty with no time limit on it and out to 200k km. In the past ten years I average about 10k km per year.

has run smoothly and I need reliable wheels to get to dialysis four times a week

first major problem, actually first problem of any scale, seems the alternator has given up the ghost

100 dollar deductible and all will be well

downside of the life in the country 100 miles north of Toronto is car parts take a little longer to get to the dealer, so without the car for 72 hours

i look forward to getting it back, it is a great ride, been loving those heated seats this winter.

Sony tells me they are closing their Reader book store

Got an email the other day from Sony telling me that I will have to transfer my books to KOBO next month.  Sony is closing its Reader Book Store.

I was surprised.  I admired their open welcoming, and easily transportable approach to e-readers and formats and platforms.  In contrast to Apple and iBooks.

Sad to see this digital ending.
